Not quite standing still

Very little work has been done recently due to a main computer dying an epic and 'oh so dramatic' death.
It's times like this, that the annoying voice starts up 'God, I hate technology.....' which is a complete lie but I seem to enjoy saying it over and over, when ever something does break.
The machine breaking is not the biggest problem though, it seems the backup disks for roughly the last six months are missing. So that's a lot of work gone AWOL. Since there has been major renovation work done here, the disks may just be hidden in an unlikely place but they haven't resurfaced yet and I'm not really hopeful at this point.

I don't really want to dwell on what could/has been lost as there's not a damn thing I can do about it.
What's gone is gone..... lost forever in the ugly innards of Dell PC.
I'm a Mac girl and that'll teach me for allowing myself to be talked into using a PC as a mule for transferring files and data.
So technically right now, I should be tearing my hair out or weeping in frustration but on this easy Sunday afternoon I'm sitting here pulling raw video images from the few source files I have left and adding them to the Death Chair Confessions gallery.

Today for some reason, the coffee tastes better, the Blues sounds are hitting a little harder and a little deeper but most of all, my head doesn't hurt.
Perhaps it's a sign of things to come?
